The Tessoro T463 is the van we'd pick for a first motorhome trip — big enough for a family of five, small enough to park in a Spanish pueblo. Delivered new in 2023, fully serviced every six months, driven only by guests and the family who owns it.
Layout is the classic Benimar L-shape: convertible lounge up front with seat-belted dinette, galley on the driver side, wet-bathroom mid-van, fixed French bed in the rear, alcove double over the cab. Five adults sleep easily; four adults and a kid sleep comfortably.
The Fiat Ducato 2.3 Multijet (160 hp, 9-speed auto) handles the A-7 and the mountain switchbacks above Guadalest equally well. Eco-mode cruise gets 9.5 L/100km on flat motorway runs.
